From the chef behind Le Grand Vefour in Paris, Guy Martin helms this 2-star Michelin dining room with terrace and lounge that’s one of our favorites. A mix of comfy lux décor mingles with Alpine architecture and views of the nearby ski mountain. Its address inside Hotel Le Lana can feel like an extension of the hotel at times, but the food is legendary and includes options for lunch as well as dinner with stylish lounge bar for before and after drinks and light entertainment.
The Food
A seasonal menu utilizes ingredients native to the region for impeccable but not unfamiliar dishes. Guy Martin is known to whip-up signature plates like duck liver raviolis with truffles emulsion cream, blue lobster with avocado and chanterelles in vinegar and one of the best caviar presentations around. Main course is a showy affair of roasted Brittany lobster with crushed pumpkin and filet of roasted lamb with three different preparations of parsnips.
