Located away from the waterfront bling of Cannes Le Coisette, Le Moulin de Mougins is one of the most celebrated gourmands in the region with 2-star Michelin marquee restaurant with on-site hotel and culinary school. Behind a cheerful villa facade of pastel wooden shutters and overgrown garden, a stone walkway leads to the main lobby of the hotel captured in creamy colors of faded apricot and faded white straight-through to the formal dining room that serves a daily lunch and dinner menu. The Food
series of prix fixe menus delight with appetizer arrangements of marinated artichoke hearts with smokes anchovies, rump of veal and cuttlefish tartare and slice of foie gras with cloves. Seafood is sourced from local purveyors for poached John Dory wrapped in fig leaf, white bream bouillabaisse and stuffed red mullet with preserved lemon. Meat ranged from beef sirloin with summer vegetables to rack of lamb simmered in olive paste on grilled eggplant.
