With the debut of Nosso, New York-born chef Bruno Katz has created a jewel in Rio's famous Ipanema neighborhood. A perfect fit for a city known for partying, Nosso is a spacious three-story bar and restaurant that succeeds wonderfully in both roles. Nosso has not been around for long and already it's an award winner for its interior lighting design. Bright colors and luxury tropical dÃ©cor highlight a space that is designed for the enjoyment of eating. The bar is located right in the middle and the open kitchen off to one side, creating a seating area that feels like it's the focal point of all the restaurant's warmth and energy. It's invigorating and highly enjoyable.
The menu is largely populated with a long list of local cuisine favorites, given a slight gourmand spin that ups the level of inventiveness and quality.
