For the last half-decade, the owners behind Bootsy Bellows and The Nice Guy have dominated the 'cool' scene for Hollywood nightlife. Now the team takes on a former gay dance hall turned cabaret club along a street that's slowly becoming more and more gentrified. Touted as a proper supper club, the owners have splurged on a proper menu to entice a destination dining crowd before 10pm, but be warned that you may be encouraged to relinquish your booth after 11pm when the space morphs into the town's top nightspot. Food impresses as does the space that feels like Alice in Wonderland meets the Ambassador's old Coconut Grove complete with velvety booths, nightly live show and gas fireplace to keep you warm on those few, cold LA nights.
