If you don’t know who Christian Liaigre than you probably don’t know a whole lot about interior design. If the name sound familiar, and it should, Liaigre has designed numerous US hotels, shops and restaurants including Mercer Hotel in New York. The French design protégée has a spin-off line of home decor and furniture as well as numerous coffee table books that dot the homes of some of Paris, London, New York and LA’s chicest homes. In St. Barths the designer put his stamp on the Le Sereno, lending his gentile designs to the stunning boutique hotel that’s been hallowed ground for edgy design elite since reopening a few years back.

Only open during winter high-season, call in advance for store hours as well as periodic yearly sales.

While the idea of a showroom may seem quite ordinary, the fact that it’s the most recognizable name in St. Barths and only a handful from the designer worldwide make it worth a walk-through for anyone that knows their Hollyhock from their Holly Hunt.
