Luxury Villa
While everyone privy to the Amalfi has heard of Positano's Le Sireunse, it's a chicer sort that know of its owners villa nestled in the hillside just above the main town. Villa degli Oleandri is owned by Antonio and Carla Sersale, proprietors of nearby Le Sireuse, who together curate this bespoke three-bedroom luxury villa designed to the nines. Some locals know the neighborhood as Punta Reginella while newcomers simply define its location as 55-steps off the main road. Lined in vintage terracotta tiles, entrance comes along the first floor and a staircase that leads to the main living area with its chapel ceiling, period Iranian rug and décor that mixes period antiques with vivid upholstery selected by Carla Sersale - the visual curator of Emporio Sirenuse. Walls of glass link to a long, furnished terrace with views that even exceed the nearby hotel. And for those that tire of the nearby restaurant scene? A modernized kitchen includes perks like espresso maker and 6-seat dining room with access to laundry and daily-maid service.
