A familiar name around the Saint-Tropez, White 1921 is an eight-room design and boutique hotel just at the entrance to the port. Revamped and branded by LVMH, the hotel mixes a fashionable design aesthetic and approachable if not humble price tag. Now, White 1921 arrives to Courchevel in a 25-room property designed by French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte that offers a wintertime address from December through April. Located along the Croisette in the center of Courchevel 1850, the property is walking distance to the main ski and offers full service perks like ski concierge and lounge bar with cafe if not a proper restaurant - at least of yet.
The Room
A single residence of 25-rooms face varying town and mountain views with spare décor and architectural details like balconies and terraces off even entry-level accommodations. Families find convenient suites big enough for two children with larger bathrooms and living layout. While there is no restaurant, breakfast is served in a communal reception with buffet or in-room on request. Additionally, a sauna with hammam and gym allow for off-slope activities with Petit Salon that features both a library and afternoon tea service.
