It's the quintessential Greek experience, a dramatic island sanctuary located in the southern Cyclades rumored to be the location of the lost city of Atlantis. The Room
On of the larger resorts in Oia and operated by Starwood’s prestigious Luxury Collections, which attracts its share of honeymooning Americans, visitors arrive to tranquil selection of villas and suites located in white-washed rooms with smoothed concrete floors carved out of the mountain. Traditional arched-ceiling contain separated living and King-size sleeping area in most rooms, facing small windows with larger balconies that all offer outdoor eating area with views facing the sea. Bathrooms all include either hydro-therapy or Jacuzzi-style bathtubs ideal for those two person honeymoon moments best left to the imagination. Those on a more liberal budget can book into one of the villas, located in an adjacent structure, with larger and more private living area as well as steam-style showers in the bathroom.
