Member's Club

In a city with no shortage of private member establishments, The Hospital Club has managed to remain under the radar since opening in 2004. Unlike its Soho House, Groucho and Arts Club competition, partying and being seen isn't as much the club mantra as networking and creative connectivity fostered by its founders Paul Allen and Dave Stewart. The result is a seven-floor compound of swish club, art gallery, cabaret space as well as two restaurant and the lounge/bar options. Once limited strictly to member access, a series of 15 bedrooms now allows overnight guests with full access to the facility designed by Russell Sage to evoke a livable urban aesthetic conducive to impromptu brainstorming sessions, comedy shows and start-up small talk.

The Room

After remaining open to member’s only for much of its history, The Hospital Club opens its doors to select guests staying within one of its fifteen new bedrooms designed by Russell Sage - who also penned the main club in 2004. Details of leathers, velvets, woods and stained glass prevail within spacious accommodations that lend themselves well to working and longer stays. Categories of small to medium, large and suites include the occasional outdoor terrace well accessorized with loungers and tables for enjoying warmer summer weather. Further in-room amenities include Ren toiletries in bathrooms, original artwork and complimentary mini-bars with gourmet treats.
