Located within a well-known tavern space in the center of Bodrum, New Old is benefitting from a complete style and design overhaul conducted by its new owners - the people behind Marina Yacht Club. The result is a grand two-story building from the 18th Century comprising of a modest interior space and larger center courtyard planted with mature olive trees around architectural archways. The space sprawls from alcove to alcove with sexy bars attended by a chatty collection of area bartenders next to small covered lounge areas and open-architecture that integrates the entire outdoor courtyard. A newly paved deck features late-night dancing and sexy lounge culture that's managed to dress-up the otherwise drab downtown area with new clientele. Music gets an earlier start at around 9pm, verses 11pm at most other area dance spots, morphing from lounge to full-on nightclub by midnight with a crowd of moneyed singles and jetsetters that humbles most any other spot in Bodrum.
