  • A discreet entryway located on 23rd Street ushers habitual partiers in hoodies and skinny jeans into an intimate hideaway located beneath the Chelsea Hotel. Owners Charles Ferrari and Vekrum Kaushik, who launched their brand of night lounges in the Hampton's Star Room, recreate the historic underground location with a modern designer spin. The lounge is comprised of three separate lounge areas, or chambers, including Room 100 where Sex Pistol's Star Sid saw an end to Nancy's life.  Illuminated chandeliers decorate the club's walls like artwork, in-between the occasional black-and-white photograph of Serena Lounge that occupied the location for more than 30-years.  Each room is richly decorated with dark wood paneling, heavy drapery, and upholstered banquettes for VIP bottle service and scoping-out DJ's like Lola Schnabel (yes, Julian's daughter) and DJ Kiss.

Three different rooms offer three very different nightlife experiences. Make a reservation for bottle service in Room 100 at least a week in advance – and try to avoid Saturday nights.
