The Old Bank of China

nightlife

Located on the 13th floor of the Old Bank of China Building in Central Hong Kong, China Club is a popular supper club and late-night. Yet another David Tang-designed masterpiece, the space is alive in colonial Hong Kong details from its dramatic deco staircase painted emerald green but mixed with a collection of contemporary Chinese artwork from bold face names like Yue Minjun. A series of lounges feel very English drinking bar but infused with propaganda art and curiosities that are uniquely Tang.

Tips

China Club is open to members and select guests dining in the main restaurant. If visiting a local luxury hotel, have your concierge make a reservation " even if at first he says it isn’t possible.

Last Word

As for the main dining room, a more formal setting prevails with menu of traditional Hong Kong cuisine and crowd of member’s and visitors lucky enough to score a reservation.
