Several floors above the intersection at Melrose & San Vicente, CATCH LA is the west coast outpost of EMM Group’s New York restaurant and is taking Los Angeles by storm. The globally influenced seafood restaurant, with locations in New York, Dubai and Playa del Carmen, has seamlessly established its presence in West Hollywood with celebrities, the Instagram-generation, and tinsel town movers and shakers who have grown tired of their after-work routines. The 340 seat eatery occupies the top floor of a commercial building and provides guests with lively bar scene, outdoor terrace and smoking area, open kitchen and impressive views of downtown Los Angeles & the Hollywood Hills.
The Food
The menu is large enough to include something for everyone, with classics from oysters, shrimp cocktails and hand rolls to an entirely vegan menu to personal favorites a la truffle sashimi and Cantonese lobster. CATCH also boasts an impressive brunch menu, with lively summer cocktails and frozen-rosé (Frozé), however we prefer an 8 PM dinner seating.

Book in advance and be sure to look the part, as they have a strict dress policy and are happy to deny entry to Valley-dwellers and tweens alike hopeful for a bar-side glimpse at their favorite reality TV star.
