In a seductive storefront around the corner from ever-hip Avenue Santa Fe, the owners of Bar Uriarte and Sucre Restaurant debut a distinguished supper club and cocktail lounge in one of BA’s trendiest neighborhoods. The bar and lounge are a regular stomping ground for BA fashionistas who sprawl-out on leather sofas, upholstered banquettes and cubist bar stools while chatting about the hottest new polo players and latest one-name Argentine designer. The deco-minded social space features exposed brick walls accented by a rafter ceiling with industrial lighting and lofty steel ducts. A small dining room continues the dark-leather theme with metal-footed tables and ironclad flatware set by a staff with slicked-back hair and model-good looks.
