restaurants

It’s fine dining for the under-40 generation; Zinc was one of Beirut’s first supper clubs to mesh the worlds of dining and nightlife. Located in a former-villa in the heart of Beirut, the rectangular restaurant space, dance bar and terrace features a center bar area with illuminated crystal vodka bar feature and sexy selection of singles on hand for nightly happy hour, casual dinners and occasional theme party. Around 10pm the restaurant takes its last formal seating as the room fills up with bar revelers dancing and mingling to nightly DJs spinning house music.

The Food

Looking for a gourmand experience with Michelin stars and white glove attitude? Then Zinc is probably not for you. Known more for it’s bar scene and casual dining than culinary fortitude, meals begin with a light selection of sandwiches and wraps with a Lebanese twist, homemade nacho appetizer that tastes somewhere between a quesadilla and a cheese sandwich, and salads wilted almost beyond recognition. Heartier entrees satiate those looking for grilled meats, chicken or occasional pasta dish as well as a selection of appetizers that fulfill a sweet tooth.

Last Word

Beirut supper club offers casual bistro menu for dinner and late night noshing.
