It's the biggest opening in Jose Ignacio since the Setai Tent. La Huella owners unveil a second restaurant & bar in former-private island club in Jose Ignacio called La Caracola. Gone is the boho-chic styling of the former super-secret island club and in its place is a stylish beach bungalow with interior beach bar and causal terrace for lounging away a Punta afternoon. A former-haunt of Testino and Cipriani, the exclusive island maintains a VIP guest list by controlling access to the island in small row boats that link guests to the mainland of Jose Igancio.
The Food
Expect delicious seafood and even better eye candy at new Jose Ignacio hotpsot. A La Huella style menu offer sushi and seafood delicacies as well as salads, sandwiches and exotic slow-cooked meat dishes. Best time to visit? 2pm in the afternoon when the sleepy model and fashion crowd emerges hungry from their beach residences.
Last Word
Located on a private island, the club is very secluded and only accessibly by boat. Door list prevails in high-season.
