  • The Scene:

High-rise yachts dock side-by-side along the glittering St. Tropez port as bronzed bombshells in white linen stroll into one of the hottest restaurants in town. Oversized glass windows allow for a protruding façade of rattan lounge furnishings amongst sculpted terracotta planters and spotlighted marquee. The interior restaurant features a bold coral-color palette extending from a leather-tufted bar area to canopied terrace with black-and-white pictures of Hollywood icons like Bridget Bardot and Pamela Anderson. Natural stone floors succumb to all sand as guests tromp from lounge to restaurant in search of their favorite booth.

  • The Food:

Most meals begin with an acclaimed fish soup, served hot and could as a savory reduction and appetizer to larger fish platters. Market-fresh seafood platters include palm-sized jumbo shrimp, tails of lobster, bay scallops, oysters on the half-shell and calamari. Land-minded foodies hit heftier entrees like a seared foie gras, salmon carpaccio and crusted ahi over bed of field greens. As evening turns into night, the restaurant doubles as a local lounge scene as yachters venture out of their cabins and carouse with visiting Hollywood stars and local socialites.

  • Last Word

The area’s flashiest restaurateur, Joseph dazzles with a Mediterranean menu of market-fresh specialties ranging from organically grown produce to wild-caught fish.
