Located in the glossy white Nugent street space well known as Annie's in recent years, Gabby Karan brings a Southampton sequel to her much-successful Sag Harbor eatery. While many will simply call her Donna Karan's daughter, Gabby has a much-earned food reputation all her own with a signature dining room she penned personally. The new dining room is infused with innumerous French windowpanes and offers walkable location from downtown Southampton as well as the surrounding residential neighborhood. Expect a lot of claws and begging when trying for a prime weekend reservation, filling-up with many of the locals that made the drive to Sag Harbor in order to experience one of the hottest Hamptons eateries in previous years.
The Food
Standout Tutto il Giorno dishes include a breaded fritto misto of shrimp and calamari with a marinara, Branzino carpaccio or more traditional thinly sliced beef with garden-fresh basil and local olive oil. Under the helm of chefs like Scarpetta’s Scott Conant and Maurizio Marfoglia in recent years, expect the Southampton location to offer new dishes and chef headliners in the kitchen. Main course includes grilled seafood dishes as well as homemade pastas topped with locally made sausage and slow-cooked meats.
