The Scene:

You’ll need to charter a private boat or get a sea taxi to take you to La Maddalena, a group of islands north of Porto Cervo, where in the infamous La Gritta is worthy of your cumbersome sea journey. Located on Porto Faro and only accessible by boat, visitors arrive to a charming one-story eatery surrounded by a lush green lawn. The main structure features an indoor dining room of rustic style with dramatic open fireplace, stone accents and farmhouse-style décor. Walls are framed in floor to ceiling windows framing incredible views of the sea as well as a covered terrace ignited in gusty wind and palette of simple creamy white furnishings.
