  • The Scene:

From the owners of London’s Gaucho comes the Beirut installment located near the glitzy Four Seasons within an indoor/outdoor dining space.  A mix of businessmen and fashionistas arrive to the glamorous dining room situated under 20-foot ceiling with cream-colored stone floors and open kitchen concealed behind a partial wall of black parchment. A color palate of white and black extends to dining chairs and wall trimmed in cow-print fabric. Floor-to-ceiling walls of glass open to a cool terrace lounge that’s one of the hottest in the city.

  • The Food:

A traditional meat-minded Argentine menu dabbles in more adventurous ceviches, crudo-style seafood called Tiraditos and starters like beef or chicken empanadas, grilled provolone cheese with crusty bread and beef sausage platter. Mains tend towards meats with samplers and specialty cuts as well as burgers, lamb dishes and grilled seafood. Newcomers should leave room for the hefty sides that include sweet potato chips and best onion rings in Beirut.
