  • The Scene:

Since the demise of La Voile Rouge, La Plage des Jumeaux has picked-up much of the dining slack for those looking for a more Francophile scene than that found at tourist staple Club 55. Arranged within an all-white beach compound next to Tahiti, a narrow beachfront is home to summertime mattress service with several rows of low-flung loungers and all-day beach service throughout summer. By the same owners as Casa Cri in the village, the beach club offers an elevated dining room with even larger terrace arranged in striped director’s chairs and crisp white awning. Inside, a more nautical scene prevails with wide plank teak flooring and windows that frame the sea of this year-round dining hotspot.

  • The Food:

With dining locations in St Tropez and at Megève, owner Jean-Claude Moreau offers a year-round menu that begins with selection of raw bar appetizers from shrimp to salmon as well as tartares and selection of salads from local growers. Main course varies from land and sea with grilled fillet and veggie sides as well as grilled and baked whole fish dishes that wow in flavor and freshness.
