Like the stylish dining room of a successful seafarer or lighthouse keeper, GT Oyster & Fish is accessed via a glassy storefront façade and tall black lacquer door that leads to the main floor dining room. Inside, white clapboard walls succumb to industrial lights strewn from the ceiling above tufted wall banquette and black-and-white whalebone artwork.
The Food
A brunch, lunch and dinner menu begins with raw bar specialties like oyster shooters, sunfish ceviche and cavar service with a GT twist. Further cold appetizer options include grilled artichokes with trout roe, shrimp soba noodles and seared tuna salad. Hot dishes include Oyster po’boy sliders, hearty crab cakes with red pepper aioli, Skate wing or grilled octopus, and seared scallop and short rib cannelloni with corn puree.
