Located in a historic 1905 tram shed building in London's trendy Shoreditch neighborhood, chef Mark Hix hones a simple culinary concept of chicken or steak. Interiors bring together Hix's love of modern art with walls displaying an extensive collection of artists including his close friend Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Tim Noble & sue Webster, Henry Hudson and Matt Collishaw. Décor feels very old world factory from white tile walls to rustic iron columns that date back to the buildings origins.
The Food
Not unlike Paris’s L’Entrecote before it, a simple menu offers family-style dining with seasonal starters followed by marbled Himalayan salt dry-aged steak from hand selected cows and barn reared chicken from Swainson House Farm in Lancashire.
