The Hotel Unique rises out of nowhere, located in a fortified residential enclave near the Botanical Garden and Jardins. The hotel's exterior is iconic, a semi-cylindrical architectural structure rising nine stories with round windows cement landscaping.

Models dressed in tight denim and airy linen pass through a cavernous lobby of high-ceilings and glassy walls to a tight elevator buzzing with electronic tunes. The elevator opens to a creamy hallway of illuminated onyx leading to the glass-enclosed eatery and pool lounge framed by some of the most exquisite city views in Sao Paulo. The lounge is composed of a central seating area of ultra-suede sofas with club chairs and long bar overlooking the restaurant and outdoor pool.

By day the restaurant is abuzz with dining businessmen that receded to a quiet happy hour around 6pm. The bar doesn't get going again till around 9pm as deejays pump lounge tracks throughout the restaurant and bar to a pack-house of bronzed locals looking to swap air kisses and flirtatious small talk.
