Named after the most prestigious vintage of Chateau Cheval Blanc, Le 1947 is the only 3-star Michelin eatery in Courchevel. The dining room is almost as marvelous as the cuisine, penned by designer Sybille de Margerie with avant-garde table arrangements and perforated Corian sphere that opens to the main kitchen.
The Food
With a rotating seasonal menu inspired by the Alps, chef Yannick Alléno creates a nightly prix-fixe menu that includes dishes like wild sea bass with celeriac emulsion, seared foie gras with green plums, parsnip puree with passion fruit and French lamb with exotic root foam.
