We usually try to avoid the chains, but the Peninsula is almost always an exception-especially in Chicago. Its perhaps the best-positioned hotel in the city, located along Chicagos Magnificent Mile, and seems to be the only large-scale luxury hotel in the city that can accommodate the modern tastes of urbanites along with the white-color demands of business types. The hotel demonstrates all the modern amenities one would expect of a Peninsula as well as the added features of one created this century, 2001 to be exact. The spa is not to be missed, especially after a great work out in the gym- a gym made for people who actually exercise. All attended by dutiful not to mention attractive staff, the Peninsula masters luxury without compromising style and hotel sex appeal.
The Room

For more space, Grand Deluxe Rooms boast ample work areas and views that are worth the extra price. Junior Suites offer a whole lot more space and feature a separate living area, bedroom, and bathroom larger than most New York apartments.
