Never a fan of hype, Trump hasn't been a brand we've paid much attention to over the years except, perhaps, with his NYC legacy properties that continue to hold-up well against age and trend. The brand also gets it right in Chicago, within one of the city's newest skyscrapers where 92-stories in the air a business-minded luxury hotel is built around tempered design and impeccable service. The property includes a portfolio of residences and hotel with culinary attractions like Sixteen, its modern-American dining room that as much defined by its menu as its all-encompassing city views. A full service gym offers private memberships with fitness center as well as swimming pool with skyline view and direct access to its signature spa with 11 treatment rooms and 53 spa guestrooms.
The Room
Entry-level deluxe guest rooms are generous in size, around 600-sqaure feet, with 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. An all-suite hotel, each room features well equipped kitchen ideal for longer stays in the city. Contemporary but not too modern in design, colors palettes of charcoal and creamy beige elude a tranquility uninterrupted by abrupt art choices but with the occasional upholstery or décor misstep. Additional line of spa guest room and suite boast easier access to the fitness center or more generous size for in-room entertaining or general hedonism.
