Sandwiched between Paradise and Super Paradise, the hotel San Giorgio is ambitious resort collaboration between the owners of Design Hotels and Paradise Club. What was originally a pop-up hotel is now a permanent destination that combines a waterfront Mykonos address with a cutting edge design hotel that's one of the most stylish on the island. A perfect address for those that look to exploit the local beach club and nightlife options that are all within walking distance, traveling to the main village will require a rental car or lengthy cab ride. The hotel grounds are lined with in-lay stone mosaic with meandering paths and traditional chapel on the property. Traditional white stucco hotel architecture is infused with elements of industrial concrete floors, salvaged woods and boho décor. In-house Stella di Mar restaurant offers an organic spin on Greek and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine along with a poolside bar home to seasonal parties and ate-night lounge scene that perks till 1am in summer.
The Room
A series of interconnecting, whitewash buildings house a total of 33 rooms and 2 suites. Bold, innovative design choices like painted-tile floors, mid-century furnishings and curated accessories are found even in entry-level rooms with upper categories offering private balconies, furnished terraces and varying sea views. Larger suites come separate living room with napping hammock and rooftop gazebo ideal for any pre-nightclub soirees you might dream of hosting in July or August.
