Luxury Resort

For those looking for the Marbella version of Byblos in Saint-Tropez or Cala di Volpe in Sardinia, Puente Romano is designed after an Andalusian village with address along Spain's Golden Mile. A series of whitewashed stucco buildings face an interior space that's a world apart from the high-rise sprawl of the surrounding area. Named after a bridge that graces the property, its owners have made quite an effort to attract some of the best chef's of the region to set-up on site flagships including Michelin star Dani Garcia as well as more casual Bibo. A series of three pools include a beach club pool with all-day eatery as well as a more family-minded Main Pool with its casual café. Tennis lovers find The Puente Romano Tennis Club has 10 courts, 8 clay courts and 2 hard courts once under the guidance of Bjorn Borj and considered one of the best facilities in the region.

The Room

A series of 27 all-white, stucco buildings are home to 267 rooms and suites that feature entry-level rooms that are walking distance to the sea with interior design that mixes traditional, classic décor with vivid colors and patterned upholstery. Larger junior suites and garden suites come with more living space divided from sleeping area by distressed wooden shutters. Bathrooms offer Egyptian marble floors, Persian stone walls and double vanity adorned in Italian bath products.
