With a name that plays of the 'Sons of Liberty' who were shopkeepers artisans, and tradesmen fortified the Lower East Side during the British invasion, this Essex street bolt hole is equal parts cool gastro-pub and late-night bar scene. A space that takes the whole reclaimed lumber trend to an all new dimension wows with its authenticity of period collectibles, vintage photographs of actual LES ancestors and original fixtures painstakingly sourced by MoMA curator Chien Dao and Matt Levine.
