While we usually don't consider an EMMY the usual award to merit a foodie destination, TV chef Giada De Laurentiis creates a whimsical, worthy dining room inside The Crowmell Las Vegas. The flagship eatery is also De Laurentiis' first to date, arranged in a stylish dining room of white club chairs, tongue-and-groove ceiling and walls of glass that open to views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesar's Palace. Personal details like custom glassware, delicate porcelain and convivial service leave a lingering impression and perhaps one of the more pleasant food options on the Strip.
The Food
A California-inspired lunch and dinner menu begins with homemade focaccia, lemon thyme flatbread and parmesan breadsticks followed by antipasti of wood roasted mushrooms, ricotta-stuffed eggplant and fried zucchini. Heartier starts include orzo meatballs with pomodoro, citrus marinated calamari, pizzettes, crostini and charred octopus. Pasta options of bucatini with ricotta, tortellini with pea pesto and lobster ravioli don’t miss a beat but leave little room for mains like a 28-oz. ribeye, rack of lamb or branzino with tangerine vinaigrette.
