Along a bustling strip of Potts Point, Yellow is an eclectic bistro from the owners of nearby Monopole and Bentley. Less formal than Bentley with nodes of Monopole casualness, Yellow is set behind a glass street frontage and inside an eclectic dining room of bentwood chairs, stone tabletops and open bar that conveys a wine bar feel.

The Food

A tasting and ala carte menu begins with snacks of quinoa crisps and raw selections of beef tartare, oysters and cured snapper. Starters of red muttle with olive tapenade and pork neck with black pudding puree start things offer seriously foodie followed by mains of chicken with cavolo nero, slow cooked lamb shoulder and fillet with Jerusalem artichoke.

Last Word

Brent Savage proves culinary force in stylish but casual Potts Point dining room.
