Aux Bons Enfants is foremost among an increasingly rare breed: a Cannes restaurant that delivers excellent food at moderate prices. It's also one of Cannes longest serving family-run restaurants, charming locals and visitors since  1935. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and lively, an ideal setting for close groups of family and friends. Tables outside are small and slightly crowded but offer exquisite opportunities for people-watching when the weather cooperates.

The Food

Chef Luc Giorsetti is a firm believer in classic Provençal techniques and dishes, including dishes adapted from the restaurant's original 1930s menu. Seasonal ingredients sourced from the local market are the backbone of all dishes. Menu highlights include fish & market vegetables served with an aromatic garlic and saffron mayonnaise, traditional Provençal beef stew, and slow-cooked duck à la niçoise. The vegetable side dishes are very large. Despite its modest size, Aux Bons Enfants has a sizable wine list and servers will recommend pairings suitable for optimal enjoyment. There's a small dessert menu for sweets lovers, including ice cream and house-made flan. Service is informed and professional and most servers also speak English, a welcome convenience for Anglo visitors.
