Located on the narrow southern peninsula of Sylt, near one of the island's largest sand beaches, Dorint Soel'ring Hof is a magical fairy tale-like hotel with gabled roof and white siding overlooking the majestic sand dunes and grassy hillside. Guests stroll along a cobblestone walkway and enter a contemporary setting and dark wooden furnishing contrasted by bright colored walls and crackling fireplaces. One of the top luxury hotels on the island is also the choice hotel for fashionable Germans that don't fancy the frilly floral ambiance of the island's other top hotels. <br /><br />The surrounding setting is one-of-kind, grassy-capped hills contrasting against sandy dunes and crashing waves on both sides of the narrow peninsula. A little too quiet for younger couples, and away from most of the island action, the hotel is well suited for those look for true nature and long empty beaches.North Sea architecture meets Sylt chic, the Soel'ring masters tailored refinement with modern furnishings neither too trendy or too loud. Rooms come in three entry level categories, all generously sized, which is especially convenient given how many people the Germans like to pack into their rooms. Chrome accents and modern lines decorate in-room seating areas as well as bathrooms that are free on any kitschy-beach references.
