Perhaps one of the most unique spa experiences in existence, Bota Bota occupies an early 20th century industrial barge retrofitted into a grand architectural spa destination floating along Montreal’s famous port.  Located in the city’s old port, a series of five decks are wrapped in floor to ceiling glass offering a lower level locker room that oozes 20s Metropolis with series of water treatment rooms and showers to use before and after treatments. The upper level decks contain the main sauna areas with cedar lining and skyline view of the city from select hot rooms with outdoor showers and rooftop plunge pool and tanning ledge. An on-site eatery offers an amazing array of spa-minded cuisine from salmon tartare to roasted chicken with its own full-bar for those that prefer to toast their detox with a Bloody Caesar -Canada’s version of the Mary or mimosa in hand.
