Marquis de Sade meets Dita Von Teese in a post-industrial dance bar in a trendy stretch of SF's SOMA. An intimidating bouncer looms over the storefront entrance intimidating a mostly-casual set of local singles unsettled by the 220-lbs of beefy door attitude all but unheard of in the city. Squinting eyes strain to make out the elaborate details of this truly eccentric lounge space including exposed iron beams, glossy paneled walls and extravagant white tufted-vinyl club chairs that seem to fill up first. VIP tables surround a polished concrete dance floor with DJ alter, offering premium bottle service with prime front row views from around $250. The club features an extensive wine list as well as a small nibbles menu of olives, mixed nuts and chocolate. Lofty rafter ceiling are dangled with faux antlers in bold enamel colors intermixed with an extensive collection of burlesque artwork that adds a sexy feminine touch to this mostly dark and mysterious dance den.

Tips

Email the management for table reservations and tell them you saw them on JetSetreport.com.

Last Word

Don’t let the bouncer scare you into unnecessary bottle service, simply wait out the 5-minutes in line and be glad that no one in SF really cares.
