Located in the former-Light space at Las Vegas's Bellagio, the owners of STACK and JET debut a 6,000-square foot nightclub and VIP lounge with coliseum-inspired design and money theme. Visitors enter a dramatic foyer offering aerial view of the multi-tiered nightclub that centers on a glass-enclosed dance floor with elevated DJ booth. Located on the lower level, the glass-enclosed dance floor is surrounded by several VIP booths offering premium bottle service and privacy glass that double as celebrity display windows. Two full bars positioned at either side of the club are a bit far from the main dance floor, but staffed with Light's usual mix of beefy post-frat guys and leggy cheerleader types. Floors and ceiling are ignited in ambient mood lighting that coordinates with the sound system to create a multi-sensory visual experience and surreal hallucinations for spacey revelers. While Bellagio has always struggled to attract an A-List crowd for venues like now-departed Light, the one-of-a-kind architecture and moneyed theme are hoping to break the trend.
Tips
Bellagio guests tend to get special treatment at the door, make sure to have the hotel concierge arrange your bottle service if staying in the hotel.
Last Word
Light Group (STACK, Caramel Lounge) reinvent former Bellagio nightclub-space to create money-theme party den that doubles as a social coliseum with vicious party girls in lieu of real lions.
