It would be easy to dismiss the bar at the Quisi as a touristy drinking joint of camera-ops and brash tourists in bad shorts and unsightly sandals. But for every one or two brazenly unfashionable guests sipping the cheapest wine by the glass and conversing endlessly over the bill, there sits the super-fashionable model or yachting oligarch how uses this lounge as a sort of downtown social club where really rich people and really pretty people meet and down a bottle of Krug and gobble-up appetizers of imported caviar and raw seafood towers.
Located along the main strip entrance of the Hotel Quisisana, this black and white piano bar with elegant arrangement of chic white furnishings is also home to a Krug Bar with extensive menu of vintage reserves and bite-size accompaniments to satiate even the most demanding of gourmet palettes. By day the lounge is a gathering point for tourists and hotel guests without enough tout or pull to get into their room before 4pm check-in. But by night the scene turns over into a chic and happening bar scene of mostly A-List visitors and locals that's unrivaled in Capri.
Tips
Try to avoid the before 6pm, when the piano or lounge DJ takes over and plays till 2am.
