Long a fan of the Little Venice waterfront, we've always been underwhelmed by its restaurant and lounge selections that cater to more of a touristy sunset crowd. Now arrives Nice n Easy, relocated from its old location that became known for some of the freshest organic and farm-to-table cuisine on the island. A terrific location with chora and windmill backdrop features main dining room and outdoor terrace above the crashing shoreline. The style mixes a simple design of wooden bistro chairs and bare tabletops with eclectic jazz and live music that defines one of the best restaurants in Mykonos.
The Food
Owner Dimitris Christoforidis and Chef Christos Athanasiadis bring their longtime farm-to-table to the main village offering a plethora of fresh Greek tapas, seafood and caprese salads followed by grilled vegetables made on an open fire. Main course dabbles in land and sea with dishes of fresh-caught fish as well as more traditional Greek meats with an innovative, fresh spin on the familiar.
